What are the cookies?
A cookie is a simple text file that is recorded by the server in the computer or in the mobile device of the user and it can be read or recovered by the server itself. It contains some information and allows to the site to remember, for example, the choices made by the user. The Directive on the Electronic Communications and the Action of the Data Protection Authority of the 8th of May 2014, n. 229, regarding the "Identification of the simplified mode of information and acquirement of the agreement for the use of cookies", provide for use of the cookies to be allowed only with the agreement of the user.
Do we use cookies in our web site?
Yes, we do. Cookies are used only for purposes regarding the management of the access statistics. It's possible to limit or deactivate the utilisation of the cookies on the Web browser. However, in this case the statistic access data to the products could be spoiled due to the leak or tracing.
Why do we use the cookies?
As already mentioned in the previous paragraph, the cookies are user for the management of the access statistics. This aspect is very important because through the access data we can verify the level of utilisation and approval of our products and, by consequence, to invest resources to improve just those software (or those functionalities) that show a greater interest by the user.
Which kind of cookies are used by our Web site?

Technical cookies

The technical cookies are the ones used for the purpose to "make the transmission of a communication on an electronic communication network, or, in a way strictly necessary to the supplier of a service of the information company expressly requested by the subscriber or by the user to provide such service" (check art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code).

They are used with the purpose of recording useful data for normal surfing and utilisation of the web site on the user's computer (allowing, for instance, to remember the preferred dimension of the page in a list). The cookies can also be classified according to their persistence on the user's computer: those that are automatically erased at the end of each navigation are called session cookies; those that have a longer life are called permanent cookies.

Functional cookies

These cookies allow the web site to remember the choices made by the user with the purpose of optimising the functionalities. For instance, the functional cookies allow the web site to remember the user-specific settings, as well as the selection of the Country and, if set, the state of permanent access.

JSESSIONID The cookie is used to store the information regarding the status of the navigation between different pages. The cookie is automatically deleted when the browser is closed. The name of the cookie is a random sequence of characters (ex: ASTCSRBC)
displayCookieConsent The cookies is used to remember the user about the agreement of the use of cookies. It lasts one year.

Analytic cookies

These cookies allow to collect data about the utilisation of the web sit by the user, included the elements on which the double-click is performed, with the purpose of increasing the performances and the design of the site itself. They could be shared with our suppliers or analysis tools. However, they are used exclusively for the purposes related to owr web site.
How can we disable or delete the cookies?
Most of the browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can also decide not to accept them. We don't suggest this last choice, because it could prevent to obtain real statistic data. If you don't want that your computer receive and store cookies, you can modify the security settings of your browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari etc.).
